Workshops

In 2024, I began teaching animation and drawing workshops aimed at kids and teens.

I started out by teaching workshops for children and teens teaching drawing fundamentals and 2D animation skills with MarionLIFE Youth. This was a fantastic experience! Some projects include teaching them how to animate in the free program called Krita in an afternoon, as well as to challenge their character pose drawing skills with prompts.

My art style is strongly influenced by manga/anime as well as Western cartooning traditions. I bring my past experience as a storyboard artist for animation, as well as a boundless love of drawing, into my workshops.

I also have experience with GameMakerStudio game engine which is popular with kids, and is a great skill for them to learn at a young age.
